BodyTite is an exciting alternative. The procedure offers fat reduction like liposuction with the additional benefit of skin contraction, as well as a shorter recovery period and less post-treatment swelling and bruising. For the right candidate, BodyTite can deliver similar results to liposuction with less disruption to your daily routine.

Minimally Invasive Body Contouring in Perth
Diet and exercise are the heart of staying fit, but sometimes, our best efforts aren’t enough to get us to our goals. Our genetic makeup determines where we store fat and how we lose skin elasticity as we age, and these concerns can resist even the strongest commitment to a healthy lifestyle.
BodyTite is a minimally invasive body contouring system that utilises radiofrequency technology to reduce fat and tighten skin in a single treatment. This innovative procedure can shape, smooth and tighten almost any area of the body without surgery.
A Note From Dr Aleks
Every year, liposuction is one of the most popular cosmetic procedures in Australia. Although it is effective for removing pockets of fat that don’t respond to exercise or dieting, not everyone is interested in undergoing a surgical procedure and taking on the discomfort, risk and downtime that come along with it.

What Is BodyTite?
BodyTite is a minimally invasive body contouring system made by InMode for treating loose skin and stubborn fat pockets that are resistant to diet and exercise. It can also reduce the appearance of cellulite and improve the overall texture and tone of your skin.
Using bipolar radiofrequency (RF) energy, BodyTite heats the dermis and subdermal connective tissue to stimulate contraction. Simultaneously, the heat energy encourages the formation of new collagen fibres for firmer, tighter skin over time and melts adipose tissue (fat) that is then suctioned away.
BodyTite can be used on any body area where traditional liposuction can be done. Common treatment areas include the abdomen, love handles, thighs, buttocks and arms.
How Does BodyTite Work?
BodyTite operates on the principles of radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis (RFAL). The BodyTite handpiece is equipped with two probes: an internal probe attached to a cannula that is inserted under the skin and an external probe that glides along the skin’s surface. When the handpiece is activated, it emits radiofrequency energy that flows between the internal and external probes.
The internal probe delivers RF energy into the fat cells, melting them from the inside so they can be aspirated from the body using the cannula. Simultaneously, the external probe stimulates collagen production in the dermis, which tightens and firms the skin to give the body a more contoured appearance.
The OLA Experience
Consultation
You will have a thorough consultation to determine if BodyTite is suitable for you and discuss all your questions and concerns. Your doctor will walk you through the BodyTite treatment process and what to expect after the procedure, and you will receive a treatment plan customised for your body type and goals.
Preparation
Your doctor will provide you with preparatory guidelines during your consultation. Please follow these closely to promote a safe procedure and recovery. On the day of your appointment, your doctor will numb the area with a local anaesthetic before beginning the procedure to ensure you remain comfortable from start to finish.
Treatment
To perform the BodyTite procedure, your doctor will make small incisions and insert a blunt cannula. They will move the device back and forth through the targeted area while it emits radiofrequency energy and suctions away the liquified fat cells. The procedure typically takes one to two hours, depending on the size and number of treatment areas.
What Is the Average Downtime and Recovery?
The recovery time after BodyTite is minimal. There may be some redness, soreness, swelling and bruising in the treated areas, but these symptoms are usually mild and subside within the first week. Most patients are able to return to work and light activities within a few days and more strenuous activities within a couple of weeks. We advise avoiding intense exercise or heavy lifting until you are fully recovered.
You will need to wear a compression garment for several weeks following the procedure to support the healing process and help your body adjust to its new contours. Your doctor will inform you of any other aftercare instructions before you return home.
What Results Can I Expect From My BodyTite Treatment?
Your new body contours will reveal themselves as the post-procedural swelling goes down. Some patients feel they notice improvements right away, but full results are expected after three to six months.
BodyTite can offer long-lasting results. You can enjoy your new shape for years as long as you continue to eat a healthy diet and participate in regular exercise. Keeping your body weight stable is key to preserving the treatment’s effects. Additionally, proper skin care plays a crucial role in maintaining the quality and firmness of your skin.
BodyTite is intended to deliver significant results in a single session for most patients. The need for additional treatments is rare but can depend on your specific goals and the areas being treated. During your initial consultation, we will provide a personalised assessment to select a treatment approach that suits your needs.
BodyTite FAQ
Is BodyTite painful?
Everyone experiences discomfort differently. No matter where you fall on the pain threshold spectrum, we want you to be comfortable while undergoing your treatment.
BodyTite is minimally invasive, and while it is generally less painful than a surgical procedure like liposuction, you may experience some sensation during the procedure. We mitigate this by administering local anaesthesia before we start the treatment. After the procedure, we provide detailed care instructions and support to manage discomfort during the recovery phase.
What are the risks of radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis?
At OLA Aesthetics, we believe in transparent and informed cosmetic care. Our commitment to your well-being means we discuss the potential drawbacks and limitations of our procedures thoroughly during your consultation.
The risks and side effects associated with BodyTite include:
Bruising or small haematomas or collection of blood in the body site involved
Redness, swelling and discomfort
Collection of fluid to the treated area (known as seroma)
Temporary lumps which will resolve themselves in time
Pigmentation or skin discolouration
Slow healing of some treated areas
Temporary extreme skin tightening after the procedure
Infection at the treated body area
Can BodyTite be used only to tighten skin?
BodyTite is known for its dual-action fat reduction and skin tightening effects. However, if skin laxity is your only concern, we can use the device on certain areas for skin tightening without fat reduction. One of our other InMode treatments, such as Forma or Morpheus8, may also be helpful for improving skin laxity.
BodyTite is not a suitable skin tightening treatment for everyone. In cases of more extreme amounts of excess skin — for example, after significant weight loss — a surgical procedure such as abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) may be more appropriate.
How many BodyTite procedures do I need?
BodyTite is designed to be a single-procedure solution for body contouring. While results can vary from person to person, it is possible to achieve an impactful degree of contouring and skin tightening improvement in one session. Some clients later choose to treat additional areas. This decision is entirely up to you and depends on your personal goals and satisfaction with the initial results.
What is the pricing for BodyTite treatments?
Our treatment plans are customised to meet the individual needs and goals of our patients. The cost of a BodyTite procedure can vary depending on the size and number of areas being treated and the complexity of each case. Our BodyTite treatments start at $2500.
You may view our full price list here and additional pricing information on our FAQ page.
Could BodyTite Be Right for Me?
BodyTite is suitable for most individuals, irrespective of skin type. For the procedure to have the most impact, you should be at or near your target weight. BodyTite is not a weight loss solution but rather a contouring procedure that addresses localised fat deposits that diet and exercise can't resolve.
While BodyTite does promote collagen production and skin tightening, the most significant results are seen in individuals who still retain a moderate level of natural skin elasticity. Severe skin laxity or a substantial amount of excess skin are better addressed through surgical methods.
As with any medical procedure, being in good general health is important. Ideal candidates for BodyTite have no major health issues that could affect the procedure or recovery.
